Brake Shoes repaired and relined

Brake shoes back from being repaired and relined. Eight rear and rear handbrake shoes on the left, four front shoes on the right. At some point someone must have put too thick a lining on the front shoes, so machined off a bit of the cam follower to get them on! That had to be sorted.

The front shoes are unusual in that one end of one shoe is anchored, then the shoes are linked together, then the cam acts on the far end of the linked shoe. Applying the brakes means that the braking action on the first shoe forces the second shoe into the drum far harder than the normal system. Sunbeams have really good brakes!
