Timing Gear

These are newly cast and machined timing gears, this particular gear goes on the crank. That's it, everything needed for balancing is ready bar a couple of studs. Full dry assembly next, then white-metalling and balancing.

  2. I think he means the top one goes on the crank, the others are part of the train of gears than run up to the cams:)

  3. Just the one on the crank yes, but the others are identical gears for different cars. There are several gears driving the oil pump, the cams, the magneto and the water pump.
